We’ll then move into the cellar for barrel tastings, and to learn more about our winemaking process. After your tasting, relax and enjoy a spread of hors d’oeuvres on the patio. You can even bring your own picnic and purchase an onsite bottle for $35.

Brandon believes that if we quiet ourselves enough we can feel the plants vibrational energy speak to us. Our approach to winegrowing is rooted in the earth and refined by hand. Great wines are grown, not made so we farm organically, harvest by hand, ferment with native yeast, avoid filtering and fining and use minimal sulfur. Ocean breezes, rocky soils, mountainous terrain establish the Santa Cruz and Gabilan Mountains as exceptional winegrowing terroir. Each vineyard we work with has a unique personality that inspires us to let them speak for themselves. Our steep windswept hillsides first planted over 100 years ago are now planted to Pinot Noir, Syrah, Grenache, and Roussanne. Burrell School’s origins date back to 1854 when Lyman J. Burrell settled the rough wilderness that is now home to our winery and Estate vines. Carrying on the more than 130 year old tradition at the School, David and Anne Moulton began development of the Estate vineyard in 1973. At a 1,600 foot elevation, the site faces to the southwest. Soils are a complex mixture of loam and shale due to our close proximity to the San Andreas Fault.
Nearby Monterey Bay brings warm days and cool nights. This results in a unique microclimate, perfect for long, slow ripening of cool climate grapes.
Initial plantings were to Chardonnay and Merlot, with Pinot Noir added in 2002. Cultivation and spraying are done with heritage Cletrac tractors; pruning, seasonal operations and picking are all done by hand.
From growing to harvesting, the goal is toward the best wine grapes possible in order to produce distinctive, concentrated wines reflective of their mountain home.
Established in 1981, Cinnabar is a small, family-owned winery with roots in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Sourced from diverse California vineyards, our handcrafted wines express a unique sense of place and reflect a commitment to excellence you can taste.
Winemaker George Troquato combines flavorful grapes with traditional winemaking methods to compose the Medallion Series and Watermark Portfolio of wines. Vineyards are selected after a thorough screening of soils, climate and cultural practices as well as a formal tasting of their library wines. The fruit is hand harvested in the morning cool and swiftly moved to nearby cellars where it is gently handled with state-of-the-art equipment. Carefully fermented in stainless steel tanks or small oak barrels, the wines are imprinted with distinct off-the-vine aromas and flavors.

Dominick and Gloria Chirichillo’s choice of name for their winery is a reflection of their commitment to their Italian heritage and the tradition of family winemaking. In 1955 in New York, Dominick who is called Domenico in Italian was introduced to these traditions by his Nonno (grandfather), Domenico Giovinazzo. In the basement of their home was a wine press that Nonno showed Dominick; passing down from one generation to another the love of handcrafting wine.
Domenico Winery’s recipe for success in the wine business is simple – take the finest grapes of California, add Dominick’s passion, blend with family tradition, and you get wine that exudes complexity, finesse, and agreeability. We invite you to come by the winery to taste for yourself.

Our Tasting Room has an old world elegance and charm that you notice the moment you step through the doors. Eden Estate Wines is a small private boutique winery in the Santa Cruz Mountains with Tuscan style buildings including a Carousel building used for private tasting and special events. Visitors are by appointment only.
The focus is on high end Cabernet Sauvignon with approximately 400 to 600 cases produced each year.
The first years production was in 2014. The 2015 is a deep red hue with generous aromas of cassis, ripe raspberry jam, boysenberry, along with notes of blackberry and violet in the background. In the palate, these profiles continue and are intensified by notes of cocoa and roasted oak. Youthful acidity, lush tannins, and a creamy mouthfeel give way to immediate pleasure. This wine finishes strong with fresh fruit, full body, and a long, savory end. Enjoy now through 2026.
El Vaquero is a small, family operated winery in Corralitos, California; homw of our organically farmed estate Pinot Noir Vineyard. We believe great wine is made in the vineyard, using a minimal intervention style of winemaking to express the unique characteristics of each vintage.

Gali Vineyards grapes are grown from soil in the southern part of the Santa Cruz Mountains appellation. The hands-on approach we take in caring for our land shines through in what we grow. The Gali Vineyard was planted in 2013 about four and a half miles from the Pacific Ocean. The 46-acres of rolling hills are studded with towering redwoods in the cool Santa Cruz Mountains of California. Ten acres of grapes began as bench-grafted two year old bare root plants, thriving in the weathered sandstone soil covered by a topsoil layer of loamy shale that provides a perfect environment. As a south-facing vineyard with marine influence, morning fog, and steady afternoon winds, the vines experience a diurnal temperature variation of up to 35 degrees fahrenheit each day leading to grape berries with thicker skins and more intense color. This unique environment produces wines with unparalleled complexity and depth of flavor.
With an appreciation for our land comes a desire to practice sustainability in everything we do. Prior to planting vines, oak trees were relocated from the land and not simply cut down. We remove invasive species that are harmful to the environment in order to preserve the biodiversity of the land. An electrostatic sprayer reduces disease protective material and water usage at the vineyard by 75%. Our no tillage practice eliminates soil compaction and allows the biodiverse native resident cover crop to flourish.
Experience Kings Mountain Vineyards From a tiny one-acre dry-farmed and hand-tended vineyard on the eastern side of the Skyline Ridge, we proudly produce elegant and refined wines for your enjoyment. Now strictly focused on classic Pinot Noir with great depth and complexity, our cellar contains a treasure of library wines, including outstanding Meritage blends. Our wine club grants members access to these aged-to-perfection gems, as well as to our new releases of Pinot Noir going forward. Mount Eden Vineyards is a small historic wine estate perched at 2000 feet overlooking Silicon Valley, in the Santa Cruz Mountain Appellation, about 50 miles south of San Francisco. Founded in 1945, it is recognized as one of the original “boutique” California winery properties, focusing on small lots of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. Mount Eden’s lineage of estate bottled Chardonnay and Pinot Noir is the longest in California. Planted in austere, infertile Franciscan shale on a cool, exposed mountaintop, these low-yielding estate vineyards have consistently produced world-class wines for over a half-century. In 2007 Mount Eden acquired an additional 55 acres in the Saratoga foothills, which was christened Domaine Eden.
Mount Eden Vineyards also produces non-estate Chardonnays from the central coast, primarily Edna Valley. They have great success making Chardonnay from the Wolff Vineyard and are continually recognized as making outstanding wines from that region.
Since 1981 Jeffrey Patterson has guided the winemaking and grape growing at Mount Eden. His emphasis is on wine growing rather than winemaking; and an obsession with gentleness and naturalness in the handling of the grapes and wines is his ongoing passion.

Naumann Vineyards is a small family estate vineyard located in the Santa Cruz Mountains with panoramic views overlooking Silicon Valley in the unincorporated part of Cupertino, California. Our wines come from grapes which are exclusively grown in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Our grapes are hand cultivated, harvested, and crafted in small lots in order to produce the highest quality wine.
Partage is a boutique Santa Cruz, California wine label founded by Sommelier and Wine Director Mark Bright to produce wines in the Santa Cruz Mountains, and more specifically from the Ben Lomond Mountain AVA.
Mark has spent the last 16 years as a Sommelier, traveling to every wine region of the world and becoming an specialist in the wines from Burgundy, France. He found the micro-climates in the Santa Cruz Mountains to resemble some of the greatest regions of France and was fascinated by the county. Small production and single vineyard wines.

Since our first vintage in 1999, Windy Oaks driving objective has been to produce world-class Pinot Noir that faithfully represents our unique vineyard terroir, with no compromises. Our winemaking begins in our vineyards, which we farm in a fully sustainable way, using many organic and biodynamic practices.
In the winery, our philosophy is to use a minimal intervention approach to fully preserve the grape quality achieved in our vineyards. Nothing is rushed—every effort is made to let the wine evolve naturally to its best expression. Hence, the winery is all-gravity, wines are aged on their lees in French oak for 17 to 27 months, and all wines are bottled without filtering or fining.
